A redesigned French heritage
BÉTON CIRÉ pays tribute to the legendary French headwear: the beret.
Born in the south of the city of Pau in the 15th century, the hat later worn by soldiers from all over the world has now become an iconic accessory with a very Parisian and retro style. For Béton Ciré it is especially a reference to the French Navy beret, whose pompom has been replaced by a small cord for a more urban look.
Both feminine and masculine
Over time, great athletes such as golfers or professional cyclists who have adopted it, the beret then became more sporty and mostly unisex! Coco Chanel, who made it appear on her Fashion shows at the time, gave it a prime position as an accessory, both chic and casual in the women's wardrobe.
Set of materials and colors Bright colors straight out of Wes Anderson's universe, the colors of the hats are presented and merged through designs and materials that are both authentic and timeless. Strong and vibrant colors brighten up the collections in both Summer and Winter: in Summer, warm colors and towards the end of the year colors that will highlight Winter outfits with audacity and style!
A clever mix between the color and the material that will follow the person who wears it for every day. BÉTON CIRÉ’s beret has an adjusted shape for a distinctive and urban look, combining both French traditions and a unique style. The stiff headband gives it a well-maintained shape in all circumstances. An elastic band on the back allows it to adapt to everyone's head and to be comfortable. The beret, an iconic hat that has lasted throughout time and is a landmark symbol of French culture throughout the world, is therefore an essential part of the brand's collections.
